The Anti - “Big Firm”

We come down from the 50th-floor high-rise, roll up our sleeves and get to work advocating for you.  We are able to help keep dollars in your business because of our lower overhead and commitment to practice and workplace efficiency. We use a remote work model for cost-flexibility and cost-management and have done so since well-before the COVID-19 pandemic.

No Legal Bureaucracy

When you work with InTown Legal, you’re directly hiring the legal advocates who are going to do your work– not an overworked, high-priced associate and higher priced junior partner who are then required to have all of their work “reviewed” by the country club law partner.

We’re happy to work with these clients!

For Entrepreneurs

We work hand in hand with entrepreneurs to help make sure their unique needs are addressed.

Business Formation

We help entrepreneurs set up their businesses to meet their organization’s needs starting with limiting your liability. Our counsel includes working with your tax advisors on choosing the form of a legal entity. Once the business is formed we help our clients take care of other common business needs that are discussed on this page.

Essential Contracts

Every business should have a library of essential contracts that it uses with its business. Those contracts can include: non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), engagement letters, purchase agreements, master service agreements (MSAs) and many, many others. We work with you to: i) understand your business and ‘what’ it’s selling, then ii) use that information to develop the library of contracts that will help you sell your products/services and help protect you and your business by limiting its liability.

Legal Quarterbacking

We pride ourselves on going beyond legal counsel to offer broader business perspective derived from our own experience as a business owner and in-house counsel. This business perspective may include review, critique and revise business plans, assess financing needs, assist with strategic introductions to prospective investors and other strategic contacts, help locate key management candidates, and advise on the vital strategies and perspective that businesses need to excel. Our goal is to be your trusted advisor and broadly assist your business wherever it makes sense to do so.

Meet Rob

Rob has a unique blend of larger firm experience, having worked at two regional southeastern law firms and served as in-house counsel with an Atlanta-based publicly traded IT network service provider. Prior to founding InTown Legal, Rob was a partner with a well-respected technology and venture capital boutique law firm in Atlanta.

Rob is a board member for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities and a founding board member of the MillionMile Greenway, an organization that provides tools for creating and maintaining community greenways and parks. He’s also a founding member of the Briarwood Park Conservancy, a park advocacy group he and other concerned friends and neighbors organized.

Rob cherishes the time he spends with his family, especially journeying outdoors and hiking whenever possible. When not hiking with his family, Rob remains committed to an active outdoor lifestyle trail running throughout the southeast.

Rob graduated with a B.A. in History from Auburn University and received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where he was a member of the law review and its editorial board. Rob is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and lives in Atlanta with his wife and their children.
